While parents are still struggling with what role should computers play in children's growth, young children have already become a noticeable population in the world of internet usage.
Obviously, there are many good children sites around. Before I recommend a website for children, I would spend some time finding out the intention behind the site's host. I especially like those sites that are developed by parents. .
Boowa and Kwala is a children's website developed by a Franco-English couple. Their sole intention to build this site in 1997 was that their daughter can have access to an educational and bilingual website. The game bank in this website is huge - 818 in total! Besides the usual music and story sections, I especially like activities/games which aims at developing children's coordination skill over the mouse or computer keyboards. Certainly, the fact that this site being bilingual makes it very unique - a great resource for les canadiens! =)
